Ingredients

  • 1 kg hilsa fish (kelee shad), cut into 10 pieces
  • 1 tsp pudina leaves (mint)
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 50 g butter, chopped
  • 3 tbsp capsicum
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 1 tsp green chili paste

Directions

  1. Wash the fish thoroughly in water.
  2. Put the salt, sugar, 25 g of butter and all the other ingredients into a baking dish.
  3. Add the fish pieces and sprinkle the rest of the butter on the top.
  4. Bake at 200°C until the fish turns golden in color or otherwise appears to be done.
