Ingredients

  • 1 medium tomato
  • A few basil leaves
  • about ¾ the weight of Mozzarella cheese as the tomato, sliced
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Italian seasoning or oregano and pepper (optional)

Directions

  1. Cut the tomato into about 5 slices.
  2. Put a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of each tomato slice.
  3. Cut a horizontal slit halfway through each slice.
  4. Put a basil leaf on top of each one.
  5. Sprinkle herbs over each slice.
  6. Drizzle some vinegar and olive oil on top. Do not mix the vinegar and olive oil.
  7. Eat fresh.
