Ingredients: ½ stick unsalted sweet cream butter; 1 tbsp vegetable or olive oil; 2 medium cloves garlic, crushed and chopped fine; ⅓ cup (80 g) diced red onion; ½ tsp dried oregano; ½ tsp dried crushed red pepper flakes; 1 can (28 oz / 750 g) unsalted whole peeled tomatoes, reserve juice; 1 can (6 oz / 150 g) tomato paste; 1 ½ tsp salt (more or less to taste); 1 ½ tsp granulated sugar; ½ tsp ground black pepper
