Equipment
Mixing bowl, Cutting board, Chef's knife, Whisk or fork
Notes
You can customize the spice level of the salad by adjusting the amount of jalapeño pepper or adding chili flakes.
The addition of honey or sugar in the dressing helps balance the acidity of the tomatoes. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
Use ripe, juicy tomatoes for the best flavor and texture in the salad.
For a milder flavor, you can remove the seeds from the tomatoes before dicing.
Letting the salad chill in the refrigerator allows the flavors to develop and enhances the taste.
To add more depth of flavor, you can include diced cucumbers or bell peppers to the salad.
Some recipes include a sprinkle of ground mitmita spice for an extra kick of heat and flavor.
