- 2 cups sprouted wheat flour
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 dashes of salt
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups white granulated sugar
- 3 cups boiling water
Directions
- Combine the flours and salt.
- Melt the butter in a medium pot, then stir in the sugar. Let caramelize gently over low heat.
- Carefully whisk in the boiling water, then the flour mixture. Make sure to stir until free of lumps.
- Cook over low heat for 2–3 hours.
