- 450 g dried mixed fruit (raisins, currants)
- 55 g flour
- 100 g brown sugar
- ½ lemon
- ½ orange
- 40 g fresh white breadcrumbs
- 40 g chopped almonds
- 2 eggs
- 75 g butter
- 1 small apple
Directions
- Combine all dried mixed fruit in a large bowl. Stir well.
- Mix in the flour, then the sugar, lemon, orange, breadcrumbs, and nuts.
- Whisk eggs in a separate bowl. Mix eggs into the dry ingredients.
- Steam the pudding for several hours, remove it, and put it in a cool place.
- Serve with butter, cream, custard, or brandy.
