Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds (900 g) peeled raw shrimp
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 ounces (340 ml) of beer
- Tabasco sauce
- Salt
- Pepper
- Butter
Directions
- Combine onion, garlic, shrimp, and beer in a plastic or glass bowl.
- Add as much Tabasco as you'd like (start with 1 tbsp) and some salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and marinate overnight.
- Remove shrimp from marinade, and discard marinade.
- Melt some butter in a pan and sauté shrimp until pink and done. Don't overcook the shrimp or they'll be rubbery. You can also grill the shrimp.
